Know what you are buying, before you order
Noctalume started in the autumn of 2026 with a simple idea: a good coat or jumper should not be a gamble when you buy it online.
Too often the surprises come after you have paid. The cloth is thinner than it looked, the size is off, the parcel takes longer than you expected, or sending something back turns out to be complicated.
So we put the facts first: what a piece is made of and how it fits on the product page, and how long delivery takes and how returns work in our policies. Then you can choose with confidence.
The name
Night and light
Noctalume joins two Latin words: nox, night, and lumen, light. It stands for the reading lamp that stays on after the house has gone quiet.
That is the hour we dress for: warm, unhurried and entirely your own.

How we choose
Picked for a British winter
We choose every piece in the shop ourselves and write our own descriptions, in plain words. Before something goes online, we check the composition, the measurements and the photos.
We keep to the colder half of the year: overcoats, puffers and gilets, cable knits and quarter-zips, and the jumpers for Christmas in between.
